I rode for 40 years without a  helmet - too cool, I guess.

But my husband and I provide foster care for two brain-injured youngsters
and are the adoptive parents of two more.

NOW I use my helmet!  Not cool is being dependent on someone else to meet
your daily needs.

The human brain is an amazing organ, when it's working as designed.  It
doesn't take much of an injury to alter that design.

Next time I go off, I want to be in shape to complain about it.
