Re: [RC] bits and hackamores - Julie FullerKeep in mind that a "cowboy snaffle" with long shanks is not a snaffle at Yeah, I know *shudder* I felt terrible about the whole thing. My vet did make me feel a bit better when he said the damage had been done previously, and our three weeks of riding at the time hadn't done anymore than make old damage more apparent. I sure felt sorry for the old gal though..... I've been riding horses for Jeez, nearly 30 years now! and I'm still learning!
