[RC] more about bits/bridles - Ashley Wakeman

First of all, concerning bridles, I was wondering if
anyone could tell me what kind of bridle is best for
endurance? A regular trail bridle, halter/bridle or
just a bridle converter? That is my next piece of
tack I need to buy before my first ride in May.

Also, my horse is a bit headstrong, not always wanting
to respond to the reins when I slow him down or ask
him to halt. What is best for this? A hackamore? I
wouldn't think so, but then, you never know. I have
been using a full-cheek snaffle. Should I just stick
with this and work more on making him respect me?

Thanks
Ashlee
