As for accuracy, my Forerunner 201 loses about 1/4 mile in 10 miles, so about the same accuracy as yours. I have a Garmin GPS V that I use with my external antenna that is much more accurate, probably partially due to having an external antenna mounted on my helmet. I love having a GPS for helping me train. Much better than guessing, even with some amount of inaccuracy. My guessing is MUCH more inaccurate! LOL.
