RE: [RC] [RC] gps again!! - Laurie Durgin



I finally got a chance to try out my new "watch" gps
system from Timex.  It was accarate to less than 1/2
mile in 20 miles.   Is this common for this type of
gps.   I tried a hand held one last year and it was
off by almost a mile in ten.

Anyway hoping it was not a fluke and will be trying it
on several premeasured "with a car" rides before I
trust it to measure a trail. And then can ajust the
milage acordingly.

Unless you have a car like mine that was off 1/10 of a mile.
