I feel the need to point out that my "DNF" is actually a Did 
Not Start.  Saturday morning my mare had swollen lymph nodes 
and I chose to pull right then and there rather than risk her 
(or any other horses).  She never ran a temp, never acted sick, 
and is 100% fine now, but better safe than sorry.  I am sorry, 
however, to have missed this ride that I was really looking
forward to riding.
