I actually prefer Zilco Synthetic Tack which is
beta. I find it lasts longer than Bio Thane and doesn't crack and is

I have never had any problems with my zippers
on my Sportack cantle bags. I think the Snug Pax are good too. I've
been using them for the last 3 endurance seasons and I stuff them full during
rides. No problems thus far. I also use the water bottles that come
with the cantle packs. I have frozen and put all sorts of juices in them,
etc all with success.
