Re: [RC] skin health - heidiIf you live in a selenium-deficient area, supplementing with SeE might help your mare. During the first year and a half I had my gelding, he tended to develop rainrot. I started giving him SeE, and that has solved the problem. Cindy took the words right off my keyboard. <g> That's been the #1 problem in horses I've dealt with with rain rot as well. Another consideration is zinc--and usually any supplement designed for geriatrics will be higher in zinc. But add the selenium as well!
