However, I never claimed that Swanton Pacific was the greatest 100 miler in the country, just the most beautiful trail. Of course, everyone must realize that when people are advertising something to the public, they sometimes have to exaggerate a little. As in Avis, "We're #2, we try harder" or something like that. But truthfully, it IS a gorgeous trail. (Just ask Stagg and Cheryl Newman).
