The width of the trailer makes little difference on
the turning radius. Going from an 8' ft. wide to a 7' 6" will however a big
difference on the interior of your living quarter.
The tapered nose helps.
Just watch it if you get in a real tight turn. By
going slow and watching in your rear view mirror, you should be O.

For those of you that haul goosenecks, I have a
question. I am getting a crew cab, regular bed. I am also
upgrading my trailer from a bumper pull to a gooseneck. My trailer
dealer suggests I consider a 7'6" wide trailer instead of an 8' wide one
because of the shorter bed on the pickup. I have described some of the
fields I have had to try and park in for rides and he thinks I will have more
turning ability with the 7'6" wide. The nose of the gooseneck is a
tapered one. Would like to hear from those of you that have had
experience. Also, overall length of trailer is looking like 23 or 24
feet ( not counting the gooseneck part), I'm thinking that should be fairly
easy to manuver.
