RE: [RC] questions on Reactor Panel - Stephanie E CaldwellKaren, I test rode an RP and had it fitted to both my horses by Carmi. I had the Baker VSD and the Endurance model for our guys. My mother's extra wide horse moved better with that saddle than any other time, except bareback. It was an extremely *nice* saddle, very good quality. Mother didn't like it though. It's got a narrow twist and big external knee blocks. They dug into her thighs and the twist was too narrow. I loaned it to my riding buddy who has a mare that was the same width as Shogun then and she really liked it. She did about a 20 mile ride in it and was very happy in it. The Baker was very secure and my mare rode better in it than she had in years. Carmi pressure tested my saddles and told me what I already knew, they didn't fit! Hence the problems when I'd been riding. Sadly Star was still lame from a kick in her hocks and I didn't get to ride much in them. If I weren't going to school next year or could take an RP I'd have at least one in my tack room.
