RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] Hoof Armour or shell game - terry banisterSomeone just sent me this information about their positive experience with Hoof Armor. Here is what she did:My experience was a little different from yours.? First I used a heat gun (love that husband) that probably worked a whole lot faster than a hair dryer.? I also let them put their foot down after ??? rather than waiting for it to be all the way dry (the instructions said they could as long as it was soft dirt). The second time I did it, I rested the horses foot on mine (steel toed shoes) so I didn't have to hold it up and they did not have to keep their weight on 3 feet for the whole time - that really helped.? If you do this either wear old shoes or cover them since it is impossible not to get some of the goop on you. I also was not sure if it was still there once it had dried ( I put on 2 coats), but when my farrier came 6 weeks later, the effort it took him to trim convinced me that it was still there and working pretty well. I will definitely use it again. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
