We had a water softener installed on our horse lines. That was the magical bullet. Have not had a tie-up since and we have had at least 5 horses competing from our ranch since. None of them have had one slight problem.-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Sooo, the water being high in CA affected the horses' ability to utilize CA right? So, if you happened to go to a ride that had well water that was high in CA that wouldn't cause a problem short term, right?
