RE: [RC] [RC] Hoof Armour - terry banisterWell, I tried it, of course. It involves having the horse standing on dirt (and not cement or rubber mats) and then dragging a hair dryer on an extension cord to the horse. Then cleaning the hoof with denatured alcohol prior to applying the Hoof Armour (and hoping your horse doesn't pull his foot away and set it down before getting everything applied and dried (several minutes per hoof) - Or you have to start all over again. It is a clear gel, that "sets" (similar to the gel women use for artificial nails, only it does not require a UV light to set). When it is applied, it is barely noticeable, so after riding, I was not able to tell if it was still on, or did it wear off?I found myself avoiding the ordeal of doing another application. If anyone has an easier or more positive experience with it, I would like to hear from them. Terry "May the Horse be with you"
