Sulaiman claims endurance race FAHAD
Sulaiman of Al Asayel Stable clinched the Bahrain Trial Endurance Horse Race for
the World Juniors Championship, organised by Bahrain Royal Equestrian and
Endurance Federation (Breef) yesterday at the Bahrain Endurance Village premises
in Sakhir.
Competing among 40 riders in the race which was sponsored by
Batelco, Sulaiman completed the 120 kms distance in five hours, 42 minutes and
27 seconds riding Mac Drac.
In second place was Mohammed Abdulsamad
(5:43:42) of the Royal Team on Naima El Fayssetts, while Raed Abu Samad
(6:10:32) of the Royal Team came third on Freelance Akdanitti.
The race
also featured riders from abroad, including Australia's Anna Williams and
Suzanne Perry of Ireland who came eighth and ninth, respectively.
