[RC] EasyWalker Synthetic Shoes - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Cindy Lawbarabs@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Interesting that this subject is being discussed this week, because the rep from EasyWalker was making the rounds with my farrier just this past Monday. My farrier invited me to watch him apply the shoes on a hunter/jumper client of his, which I did. My farrier does find these shoes easier to apply than others he has done. I am considering them next season for my CTR horse, for the shock absorption, because he has some arthritic change on his right-front at the coffin joint. Not lame, but just something I am mindful of, and not wanting it to worsen. I searched the web, including RideCamp archives, and cannot find any actual experience with these shoes from endurance riders. Anyone here actually used them? One that can be fitted to the horse not the horse fitted to the shoe. The only one that I know about is the Easy Walker. And yes it does have a model that has a sole protector built in. Un like almost all of the rest it is easily fitted and the last thing that has to be done is to put on and secure the clips. I really don't know of another synthetic shoe that you can do this with.
