Gosh, in the middle of the cold, dark night in Nebraska, I found myself filled with terribly strong emotions.
To love a horse who gives you all he has, willingly and with the elan (and success) that Rio has, is almost an obligation of anyone involved in this sport.
What a privilege, a blessing and something that will only grow more and more special with the passing of time...that Rio led the way and still does.
