[RC] Sacroiliac joint subluxation - Jerry & Susan Milam

I have a horse who most likely has had a pelvic injury sometime in the past
who now exhibits resistance to moving forward beyond a walking gait and at
times has had his right sacral tuber elevated above the left one.
Chiroparacty helped him when he became very resistive and allowed him to
continue being ridden last year while completing 2- 25mile LDs. After his
final LD of the year I took him out to joy ride with a friend of mine. We
mainly walked with a bit of trot and his tuber was elevated again. By the
end of the 2 hr ride, he was pooped and annoyed.

We are trying a regimen of Cosequin, high doses of Vite E.

My question to those who might know: Do these things usually get better and
finally stabilize, or will I always have a horse who is hurting and doesn't
enjoy his work after such an injury?

Thanks,

Susan and Dandy
