[RC] Rider in News - Kathy Copeland

Title: Rider in News

You breeders and shoers out there. Can you come up with a horse that can
perform on one feeding a day and will grow feet and wear shoes that only
need replacing every three months?

Well as a matter of fact we already breed such an equine here at Copeland Farms.  One feeding a day, and a very small feeding at that.  Just a quick 5 minute feeding on a ride of whatever is convenient and you are good to go until the next vet check. Water, the same thing, probably 50 miles to the gallon.  As for feet, they never need to be shod they have such great feet and only need a slight trim every 4 months or so.  Lameness, well that just doesn't happen, greatest genetic line of shock absorbers breed into those legs.  Heart rate recovery, 90 to 48 in 4.4 seconds.  Metabolic problems-NOT-electrolytes, well they don't really need them but if it makes you feel better you can give them a small dose every 15,000 miles.  Vaccines, once given are good for life.  Never need to be wormed, breed in immunity.  These equine come with power steering and mileage conditioning built right in.  They come in high speed (for those who like to top ten) and regular speed models (for those who like to enjoy the miles).

Now these equine don't come cheap, as a matter of fact they are pretty pricey, but you have to factor in all the money you save on feed, shoeing, training and vet care.
