[RC] BLM Mustangs/slaughter - Maureen A. Fager

While BLM stands for Bureau of Land Management, it is also known as the Bureau of Livestock and Mining. Sounds like it's going that way again.

The horses that are permantley stabled at the Palomino Valley Horse Mangament Area are not in my opinion, abused. Although penned, they are fed and receive regular vet care. From what I have seen, there are many domestic horses, including adopted mustangs, who are living in worse conditions. Once a horse is captured, it is not returned to the range.
