Day of the Horse, but Doomsday for wild mustangs:

Aging wild horses and those that cannot be auctioned off
as pets could be sold for slaughter under a bill that Congress passed
over the
weekend.

Too many horses, too many developers, not enough land for them all. I know there's no easy solution.........
