Don't know about his actual bloodlines, but the
Paso Fino I would love to be able to compete (as per an earlier message) is
100% Puerto Rican, and I've been told that horses with his old lines are
hard to find. He would be a complete bust in a PF show ring, but he's
marvelous on the trail. The other PF owned by my friends is
Columbian. He's taller and a bit finer. Still a good trail horse
(and not a candidate for the show ring), but not at all in the same league as
his Puerto Rican barnmate.
