All I know is when my horse was doing his wonderful extended trot and happily going along behind a shorter horse, he was able to see over that horse and spook at a deer. He then stopped and turned but I kept going. I did a beautiful somersault off the horse and my Camelbak around my waist cushioned my lower back when I fell which in turn made it kind of "sploosh" and now it leaks. Those are my calculations.
