Re: [RC] trailer safety - Dyane SmithMichelle, see if you can find a copy of Neva Scheve's book "The Complete Guide to Buying, Maintaining, and Servicing a Horse Trailer" (Howell Equestrian Library). It will give you every detail you need to make a good choice and fix anything that needs it. The owners emptied it and cleaned it out and have camped in the trailer for a couple of years. Now they are selling it to downsize. The price is right for the trailer - the horse section is in really good condition. What things do I need to check out on a used trailer, other than the obvious - floor, lights, breaks, undercarriage, tires, etc.? There are some rusty spots in the usual areas, how do I tell if it's a bad rusty spot or minor (I plan to have it repainted)? Thanks in advance!
