[RC] ride food - Chris PausDepends on what time of year it is. I am pretty lucky where we are to be close to a town and trails... One year I had a good BBQ dinner catered. It cost me $5 per person. I just built it into the entry fee. The caterers supplied everything... tablewear, napkins, plates, meat, side dishes... etc. There was plenty enough for guests and we had some left over for the next day's awards meal. At a fall ride, I used a big crock pot and heated several institutional size cans of chicken noodle soup. I also had hot dogs cooked on the grill. I think both ways, riders were happy. It's easy to cook up a big pot of sloppy joe stuff and have that available. Around here, the RM usually supplies some kind of meat or main dish and the riders bring more than enough to share for a potluck. chris --- GoldenCMK@xxxxxxx wrote: I would like to know from managers what they have found to be the best and easiest meals to serve at rides?
