Re: [RC] Horse transport - Chris PausI'd be much more concerned with a shipper being good and knowledgable about horses than about the price per mile. I had a young horse die from a broken leg because of a transport company's driver completely mishandling this animal. It was horrendous and I never want to go there again. I've found a shipper I trust. He's hauled a weanling filly from KS to Miss for me and a stallion from KY to KS. I'm very picky about who hauls my horses. chris --- BeckeG@xxxxxxx wrote: Have a friend that needs to get a weanling colt from Boyers Town, PA (outside of Philly) to Georgia, S. Carolina area. He has had all his shots and his coggins. Just need a few days to get health certificate. If anyone is going down to JD's ride or any of the SEDRA rides in Dec., She is willing to pay all your gas and some. Or, if anyone knows of a reasonable shipper let me know.
