Just be sure to check with the county zoning office to see what the minimum 
acreage you need per horse. It varies by state and county. When I lived in IL, 
the county I was in said 1 acre per horse. Where I live now in FL, I think they 
don't care because I see several horses crammed on a 1/2 acre. I have heard 
some areas required 3 acres for the first horse and 1 acre for every horse 
after that.
