RE: [RC] cleaning equipedic pad - Eric DrewI use a rubber curry brush to remove the hair from the pad as far as washing it goes, use care in removing the foam pad as the opening is smaller than the insert. To avoid tearing it I roll the insert in half and stick my arm inside and push it out from the mid point rather than trying to pull it out from the end wash the pad in a front load washer for the least abrasion. I rinse out the inserts in the shower then set them to dry for a few days. so far I have washed the pad 4 times more often than I've needed to rinse the inserts. --- Eric Drew --- eidrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxx --- [Original Message] From: <kc85124@xxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 11/3/04 4:56:51 AM Subject: [RC] cleaning equipedic pad I was wondering what would be the best way to wash my equipedic pad cover. Also how do you clean it between rides without washing it. I know with my skito pad I just use a wire dog brush between washings but afaid that might be too harsh for the eq pad. I clean my pads before rides but don't want to wash it for every training ride.
