The Mountain Bike races have a classification called "Clydesdale" for the really big guys/gals. (Honest! I would NOT lie about a thing like that, lol.) But then its not nearly as hard to get on a mtn bike as it is a horse.

That would be pretty elite group. I thought the intent was to make the weight divisions about equal in number of competitors. The VP article I wrote last year showed
FW 22% LW 29% MW 29% HW 20%
I think the whole question of weight divisions is certainly worth reconsidering.
