[RC] Fort Valley Trail of Tears for many this year! - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Mary Coleman caf@xxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I have many times told people that Old D 50 is far easier than the No Frills or the Fort Valley trails mainly because you never know what the course is to be! Fort Valley in 2003 proved very tough(to be expected) but rather too long also. This years trail took the majority of the riders out because of time needed to complete. Over 1/2 the riders on Saturday galloped in down to the wire! I did not ride this year just crewed the whole 12 hours. This is really pretty discouraging and certainly not a way to attract entries. I am a lifetime Old D member and more than willing to continue my support of award donations but not at all willing to ask my horses to ride there again.
