My kids were 6 and 9 when they did their first
distance ride. Mean mom took them on a 35 mile comp. All I heard was
'are we done yet?' They and the ponies made it thru in grand shape, I put
heat bumps on my horse's back from turning around so much to check on
them! There was no looking back after that.
