Ummm, kind of hard to forget about it since they now have a collection company calling daily. (I'm in the process of sending them our side of the story. Until they get it in writing they will apparently call daily. We exhausted all channels we could find with the trucking company. We turned them in to the better business bureau, and they just responded that we changed our product/packaging. The last guy that said he'd look into it was 6 weeks ago, never heard back so we figured he took care of it until the cllection calls started.
I know with fuel prices the trucking industry is going through tough times right now. Monte thinks they're just using this method to raise funds. If you can get 1000 customers to ante up an extra 300 bucks.......
Apparently this is an idustry that is allowed to charge whatever they choose, after providing the service.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over this. Would you suddenly decide to increase your product price 3X over to your most recent sale..and think you would get it? Not from me you wouldn't. You cannot pay this and then think you will be safe from the next time a carrier decides...'oops, we cheated ourselves...antie up.' Fuel costs are through the roof of those fancy condos rolling down the road, but the companies they belong to or are leased to collect a fuel surcharge..they made money...I guarantee it. Forget about it..........
