[RC] Crupper & dressage saddles - rides2far

I've never had any luck with the T -- they always just slide out
on the first steep downhill.

Ours was tight and secure...maybe the channel was wider in yours?

You have two good choices with a dressage saddle (or other English
saddle): > 1) Add a ring. Costs about $10 at any decent saddle shop.
2) Buy a crupper that attaches to the billets. Many of the
folks who sell biothane tack will make these (like Sportack).

Haven't I seen an attachment that sort of made a V at the saddle and
attached to both the rings on the cantle? I'd hate to have to deal with
one that hooked to billets at every vet check. If the tree allows it it
would probably be pretty simple to attach a ring with a screw though.
