Re: [RC] An Open Letter to Ride Camp - Part 1 (very long) - heidiWe also do not denigrate other vendors products. Richard, I do not know who was manning your booth at AERC convention this past year. I haven't the foggiest whether it was you or someone else from your company. However, if the snide remarks made to my husband and myself (manning the adjacent booth) were not denigration of other vendors' products, I'll eat my hat. This is not hearsay--I was personally there manning my booth, and I heard the remarks. We did not get into any particular discussion of the merits of your pads vs. theirs at convention--and I freely admit that I have not used your pad. I also freely admit that I know riders who have and who are happy with them. I applaud the pursuit of technology in making our horses more comfortable. But whoever was manning your booth at AERC (if it was you, shame on you!) DID make derogatory remarks about the competitors' products, and both my husband and I took offense at them. This being the case, I find your above statement a bit hard to swallow.
