No, Susan, I didn't "leave it out"--I simply pointed out that the 100-mile championship has placings going begging. Under the old system, one could do mostly 50s, but there was still an incentive to do a few 100s to boost one's points standings. What the new system has done is to segregate the distances, and contribute to the decline of one. I don't consider that to be "serving the sport well." Again, just my nickel's worth...
