Re: [RC] western saddles - Alice YovichI'm thinking it does have some decent resale value, but I'm not sure what it would be. What brand is the Express? I'm definitely interested in looking. If I could find a saddle that was 'western' but fit me like the dressage saddle, I'd be in heaven.Of course, I'm not small...I'm a heavyweight rider. I usually ride in a 16 in western and an 18 inch English. I don't mind the western seat if it's just not so darn hard. Might consider selling it and trying to find one that fits you both. There are English type saddles with somewhat western type trees out there. My Express has a western type tree, is lined up like dressage, has English type stirrups leathers, but it has a Western seat. (wasn't that something you didn't like?) If you're small enough and especially if you're short go for a 14" seat. It'll keep you over your feet better. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
