Re: [RC] splint boots - which ones do you recommend and why? - rides2far

we've been using
toklat neoprene splint boots on all four legs just to protect her
from bumps and scratches. the hind leg boots are falling apart and i
was planning to buy new ones. well in the meantime someone told me
that the hook and loop closures are dangerous b/c they can dig into
the tendon and cause damage.

Considering that I have a hard time finding them small enough for an Arab
I don't worry much about overtightening...When I put them as tight as
they'll go they're good. I'm just wondering why they don't put stainless
hardware on there. Anybody know a brand that uses stainless? I'm tired of
rust. Do they expect us to stay dry or something?
