[RC] Timex Bodylink System - Heart rate monitor - Alan Kay

Has anyone tried to use the Timex Bodylink System heart rate monitor on
their horse? Or tried to adapt another heart rate monitor to be read by
the Timex wrist-worn sensor? Any other ideas about how to use one
system for time & distance as well as heart rate?  Thanks!
