hi janet, if you get a chance, try the bighorn endurance saddle. it will probably fit your mustang just fine. it is lighter than their western style saddles, and shorter, due to the rounded skirt. it is built on a different tree that the bighorn western saddles.

i have the bighorn 117. i am riding my five year old mustang, jefe with this model. just started him under saddle two weeks ago and this saddle fits him really well. he is 14.1 and kinda stocky. ed
