Re: [RC] angie mcghee/Hallelujah ride - Ed & Wendy HauserThe replacement panels are shorter. My OF is about the same vintage, and had the same replacement of panels. OF is a great system. We have not had any problems with rubbing on short backed horses, but we always ride with a WOOL saddleblanket, and a layer of mechanics tool chest drawer liner mesh under the saddle. The mesh keeps the blanket from slipping. It is available at most auto parts stores and I just saw it at my local Sears store. We do have one horse where we had to shim under the panels to get a proper fit. Len Brown's old instructions work well.
