Re: [RC] Horse won't drink - rides2far@xxxxxxxxBen Amil has been competing 11 years, something like 2600 miles, lots of up front, some BC's and I don't remember him ever taking a drink before 25 miles. On a ride last year we weighed him and Kaboot at the 2nd check, then did a loop where Kaboot drank a lot and Ben drank *some*. At the next vet check I was surprised to see that Kaboot had lost more weight than Ben. Ben is a very efficient cooler and maybe he just doesn't *need* as much.
