The asian beetle is everywhere- we have tons of
them here in the NE. In our last house, I would routinely put our 'carry
around' oreck vacuum cleaner over my shoulder and suck them up. My son
refered to it as beetle bustin'. Free range chickens help,
also.
I had not ever heard that they were dangerous to
horses, and I can't believe with all of them around, that some were not
ingested...
