RE: [RC] [RC] need ideas for good horse areas in west - Lonnie RueschYou might consider So. UT. We live in St. George, and yes it gets hot (altho this last summer was very mild) but mountains are only an hour away. Our property costs are pennies on the $$ compared to Las Vegas or California I am told. And most important, we do have a Costco!! (If you want a little cooler, look at Cedar City - 50 miles farther north. They do get some snow while St. George rarely does.) No we don't have "third floor women's wear", our malls are single story. But we also don't have a big bug problem either. We are desert, but with our red and black rocks, the scenery never gets boring even in winter. And Washington Co. has a 60,000 acre reserve set aside for hiking, mt. biking, and horseback riding. We also have a state park and national forest close by where we can ride. Lonnie Loving it in So. UT _________________________________________________________________ Don?t just search. Find.
