Re: [RC] [RC] Tevis 2005/ jamie - Courtney GiardinaKristen,A lot of juniors who ride with sponsors don't really know how to ride their own rides. I've never trained with a sponsor, and rides were my exception. When I did my first endurance ride alone, I felt so free. If I needed to stop to adjust my tack, I didn't have anyone getting flustered with me. When I wanted to speed up, the only permission I had to get, was from my horse. It's possible to find someone who you pace really well with. One of my friends and I pace well together usually. Usually is the key word. Every ride is different, and every horse has its "off day" you never know what can happen.
