Don't get the impression that this event is in the desert. It is at the 
beach! You are actually just miles from Monterey Bay  and very close to 
Carmel and Santa Cruz too. (If that can be considered a benefit?)
I live there (Aptos) so I can say that. :)
I have heard that the first day is one long loop with a vet check half 
way that is very easy for crews to get to. The second day is similar. 
The third day is two loops with, I think, the vet check in camp? Check 
with Scott about this.....
I know that Michele is putting in a lot of effort to not only create a 
new ride venue but also to defray her enormous costs of trying to get 
Tallymark to the WEC.
Depending on the weather, donations and time there may be some fun and 
exciting mixers and perks to the three days.
