Re: [RC] Chickens and fly control - Karen WilliamsWhat about Guinea fowl? I have two and have more on order. They are really neat birds. Mine roost up in the trees at night and spend most of their day running around eating bugs and ticks. They are very clean -- I never see any guinea poop anywhere except under their roosting tree -- and there's not all that much there. They can fly, but mostly don't except to get over fences. They are also very entertaining to watch. Mine like to hang out with the horses. When I call the horses in for dinner, the horses come trotting in with two guineas running as fast as they can right behind them. Its hilarious!Karen Karen Williams Spotsylvania, VA www.mattariver.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
