Re: [RC] [RC] What's in YOUR Crew Bag - TypeF \(Jackie Floyd\)

I was gonna say don't EVEN ask Karen what's in her bag, but she beat me to
it. "Over" is an understatement LOL!

Me, on the other hand ... probably need to experience a few of the things
I'm SURE Karen has experienced in all the miles she's ridden because I
haven't got anything in my crew bag but hay, beet pulp, a collapsible
bucket, a plastic pan to put the beet pulp in, a tube of electrolytes, a
granola bar, maybe some fruit snacks and sometimes, if I remember to pack
it, a bottle of Exedrin. If anything drastic happens to me, I'm in trouble!
I think maybe I haven't ridden enough XP rides yet, where you'd better know
how to take care of yourself 'cuz ain't no one else gonna do it! :)

As for my pack on my saddle, 4 bottles of water, two of which usually end up
on the horse, another granola bar and some jerkey, a hoof pick, an easy
boot, another collapsible bucket, a sponge, so far, no rain gear, but that
will change at the next ride, and a tube of desitin. But then, if I carried
anything good with me to eat, I wouldn't look longingly at Karen's chocolate
peanut clusters and she wouldn't offered me one riding down the trail in
Death Valley. Mmmmm......

Crysta -- you are so cute!

Here is mine complete with photos, lol.

I usually only use a crewbag on multidays, where we are out of camp the
entire day. As you can see I am pretty well (over) prepared. It might
look like a lot of stuff, but the most weight in the bag comes from the
baggies of horse feed.
