RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] Bucking on rides - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I think it's because she is still green. We need to put on the miles! Hi Denise, The first thing to think about -- if you really don't think it's her tack that is pinching or hurting her in any way -- is her feed. 14% protein grain and 12-14% protein alfalfa is a receipe for a HOT horse. It's also asking for the potential of long-term problems. Do read Dr. Sue G's feed info (and don't miss the "Beet Pulp Warning" squirrel story <g>). Is this an Arabian? Because, in my experience, bucking is simply not a green Arabian "thing." But, then, my Arabians tend to be from a specific genepool and also tend to be bred by me so we're more-than-bonded by the time I get up on their backs. Good luck! ~Nicole =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
