RE: [RC] [RC] Flooring for stall-good for trails too - Mel Copeland

RK manufacturing has a stall flooring product Equiterr...and there are similar ones out there that work the same, this is just the one I am familiar with. Anyway the products like this are really good for stream crossings on the trail. I have a design that uses it on the approach to the streams. With proper site design this product works really well and prevents the trail surface from migrating down into the stream. Some popular geocell designs that are currently in use are too steep and the cells are too large, making it unsafe for horses when they become exposed. It is good to use products that are designed for horses.
