[RC] Colt Training - RHightshoe

I have a 6 month old colt that I'm teaching to give me his feet. Picking
up a foot is not a problem. However, when I pick up a front foot he leans
into me so far that I sometimes think I should take advantage and teach him
to lie down. However, I don't want him to lie down or lean on me every
time I pick up a hoof. I either read or saw a technique to stop the
leaning behavior but I can't remember the technique or where I saw it.
(Hell to be getting old). I would appreciate a tip or two. Thanks. Bob
